At the January HOA meeting, Steve Burlie presented an initial assessment of the committee goals and general direction.

The mission of the Highlands RTC Committee is to analyze and discourage RTC's plan to build a 
connecting road from La Posada to Golden Eagle Park.

What do our representatives think of the connector:
 
Yes I believe the road should be built......I support one road being built . My preference after seeing the RTC proposal is for the La Posada route. If the decision is made to use the Homerun Way adjacent to Golden Eagle, I would like to see the added leg to La Posada.

Hi Steve – 
My pleasure. I really appreciate how civil the community was when they came to address the board. Thank you for your leadership in creating that tone. I’m enthusiastic that we can find a solution that works for all. I also want to bring the state of Nevada to the table since this is an issue that was created by the legislature and governor. They need to step up help local communities.
 
I’ll be in touch as we move forward with the program and make sure that you are informed when we scheduled the next public meeting.
